Game Summary

Stow’s Brian Groves caught a 29-yard touchdown pass from Andrew Wargo with 10:19 remaining to put the Bulldogs ahead for good as Hoover fell at Memorial Stadium.​

It was the only catch of the game for Groves. Wargo was 13-of-29 passing for 214 yards with two interceptions.​

Hoover’s lone score came on a 16-yard pass from Luke Grandjean to Alex Binnie with 3:50 left in the first quarter.

Binnie had seven catches for 102 yards. Grandjean was 11-of-27 passing for 128 yards with no interceptions.​

Sy Hatcher was the leading rusher for the Vikings with 74 yards on seven carries.
