Game Summary
NORTH CANTON Alijah Curtis completed 20 of 25 passes for 300 yards and two TDs to lead McKinley, which rallied from a 34-28 deficit.
Curtis found John Mack for a 60-yard touchdown with 5:23 left in the third quarter and Prayer Wise followed with a 61-yard punt return two minutes later to give the Pups the lead for good.
Wise caught 10 passes for 148 yards and a TD and Javon Lewis carried 11 times for 124 yards and two TDs for McKinley (5-0, 2-0 Federal). The Pups were playing without standout RB-LB Josh Chandler, who has a bone bruise in his left knee.
Senior RB Luke Reicosky carried 22 times for 190 yards and a TD and QB John Keller added 56 yards rushing and two TDs for Hoover (2-3, 0-2).
