Game Summary

Perry scored three straight second-half touchdowns and held on from there for a Federal League win at Memorial Stadium.

The Panthers (5-1, 1-1), who attempted one pass, rolled up 412 rushing yards. Joshua Lemon ran for 222 yards and a touchdown on 20 carries. QB Hayden Vinas ran for 110 yards and a TD on nine carries. Dion Cundiff scored three touchdowns while rushing for 80 yards on 16 carries.

Hoover’s Connor Ashby completed 24 of 32 passes for 333 yards, four touchdowns and no interceptions. Three of those TDs went to Brock Henne, who finished with eight receptions for 187 yards. Hoover, the defending league co-champion, falls to 3-3 overall and 1-2 in the league.
