Jack Andes leads Hoover football to 6-0

PLAIN TWP. — Jack Andes ran for 231 yards and three touchdowns on 28 carries as the Vikings stayed undefeated with a Federal League win on the road. 

Andes added 74 yards on 7-of-10 passing for Hoover (6-0, 2-0), which was without starting QB John Collins because of an injured ankle. Brycen Beyer caught four passes for 50 yards. Carter Lukens had a rushing TD.

GlenOak QB Evan Crissey completed 11 of 24 passes for 154 yards, a touchdown and no interceptions. He added another 88 yards on 14 carries. 

Javi’Ion McClendon ran 15 times for 71 yards for the Golden Eagles (1-5, 0-3). Dom Wagner had two short rushing TDs. Caydren Saunders caught five passes for 69 yards.
