John Collins helps lead North Canton Hoover football to Federal League win

PERRY TWP. — Hoover outscored the host Panthers 21-0 in the second half and outgained them by almost 200 yards overall in gaining a Federal League win.
John Collins ran for a touchdown and threw two scores to Jack Andes for the Vikings (5-3, 2-2). Collins was 6-of-9 passing for 104 yards and one interception. He added 56 yards on eight carries.
Andes caught two passes 81 yards and ran the ball four times for 39 yards. AJ Dolph added 89 yards and a TD on 20 carries. Hoover outgained Perry 390 yards to 192.
Caelob Hundley’s 70 yards and a touchdown on 14 carries led the Panthers (3-5, 1-3), who have lost four straight games.
