Game Summary

Dean Sarris kicked a 26-yard field to start the fourth quarter to pull GlenOak to a 20-20 tie and Tate Rhoads threw one touchdown in the final quarter and ran for another to give GlenOak its first Federal League win after the Golden Eagles lost the lead in the third quarter.

Luke Reicosky scored to third-quarter touchdowns to give Hoover a 20-17 lead. Reicosky, who finished with 175 yards rushing, scored on runs of 23 and 4 yards in the third.

Rhoads completed a 9-yard TD pass to Darius Stokes to give GlenOak a 27-20 lead with 7:31 to play. But Hoover’s John Keller ran for a 7-yard score with 2:41 left in the game to tie it at 27-all.

Rhoads broke free on a 41-yard touchdown run for the GlenOak win. The senior quarterback ran for 90 yards and passed for 190.

The Vikings had a 387-342 advantage in total offense.
